Removal of the World War II memorial in Tallinn

The hot story of the Bronze Soldier (the statute of the Word War II in Tallinn center) have been longer as only this week. Discussions about removal have been already many years, but escalated on the last year. It was also one of the themes before last parliament elections on March 2007, when Prime Minister Andrus Ansip said, that government will remove the Statute and before they will remove the remains, which are may be buried there 60 years ago.
The Russian speaking people made almost every week some small demonstrations against the removal of statute. A negative side of all public discussions have been, that there have been no reasonable political arguments, but the problem of the statute have divided people who are living in Estonia to two sides: Estonians are against the statute and Russian-speaking people are pro statute.
